I have spent around twenty years building software, and the last decade or so on the technical side of fraud prevention and credit decisioning for financial institutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
I like the part of a project where design meets reality: architecture, integrations, upgrades, migrations to the cloud, go-live night and the quiet weeks after. I enjoy explaining complicated systems to the people who have to run them, and I lately spend a lot of time making that easier with AI-assisted tooling.
